Summer begins for the Lissebecks

Well summer has begun! We started the summer with our annual camping trip to Hurkey Creek - always so much fun! Then Rylie and Gavin had barely a moment to be at home before it was off to the YMCA overnight camp in Julian. They had so much fun canoeing, swimming, shooting bows and arrows, climbing rock walls, hiking and of course making lots of new friends,and singing by the campfire. It was strange not being able to speak to the kids for over a week - but good for us all to have a little independence and of course miss eachother! The rest of the summer is planned with more camps and hanging out by our pool. No real vacations planned as work is busy for both Mike and I. Let us know if you come down to San Diego - we would love to see the family.
